Joe Nabors was sworn in to become Etowah counties newest
district court judge Wednesday before an overflow crowd at the Etowah county
courthouse.
Nabors was appointed by Governer Robert Bentley to fill
retired Judge Bill Russell’s term.
Nabors had worked with the Alabama Bureau of Investigations before going
to law school. He practiced law until he went to work for Calhoun County’s
children’s advocacy center.
