Piedmont man faces burglary and arson charges

A Piedmont man is facing charges in connection to a burglary and arson in Etowah County.  40 year old Jeremy Scott Cash,  is accused of burglarizing a mobile home on Jones Chapel Road in the Ball Play community on January 8th.
Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin says after Cash broke-in, he then set the mobile home on fire.  Scrap metal taken from the residence was sold at a local business, according to the sheriff.   
Cash is currently being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on $7,500 bond.  His charges include one count of third degree burglary and one count of second degree arson.  Both are felonies.
