Two people who police say are involved in a man's death in
Blount County appeared in a Wisconsin courtroom Thursday.
Matthew Thrasher, of Hayden, and Stephanie Underwood,
Hanceville, were caught shoplifting in Kenosha, Wisconsin but won't get jail
time for that offense.
That's because they'll be extradited to Alabama as suspects
in the murder of 55-year-old David Hayes of Holly Pond in Cullman County.
Authorities discovered Hayes' body behind a cemetery in Buck
Ridge on Pine Mountain in Blount County.
Another man, Christopher Jones, is already charged with
Hayes' murder.
According to court documents, Thrasher and Underwood
admitted to being involved in Hayes' death.
