Suspect charged in Oxford Double Murder

Kerojae Qyfon Loveberry

Oxford police have made an arrest in a December double homicide.
20 year old Kerojae Qyfon Loveberry of Anniston is charged with two counts of capital murder.  Investigators say Loveberry killed Cordeira Romey Maxwell and Misty Renea Lopez.
Officers found the victim's bodies December 19 at the Super 8 motel on Highway 21 in Oxford.
Chief Bill Partridge  declined to comment on the motive behind the killings, but said drugs were involved.
Police arrested 21-year-old Jamie Edgar Gomez in December for tampering with evidence and possession of marijuana.  He remains in jail, but has not been charged in the deaths.
The Oxford officers had been searching for Reginald Marquell Billingsley for questioning related to this double homicide.
Police arrested Billingsley less than three hours later.  He is charged with hindering prosecution and receiving stolen property.
