A Dekalb county Grand Jury has indicted a 20 year old Ider
woman for torture and willful abuse of a child for an incident that involved her
4-month-old child.
Brandy Lea Watson,
was charged after an investigation into an incident last April that left
her infant with a femoral fracture.
The child was treated at Children's of Alabama in
Birmingham.
The DeKalb Sheriff's Office, the DeKalb County Department of
Human Resources and the District Attorney's office were involved in an
extensive investigation into the incident.
