Gadsden police say that Three people reported being
assaulted early Sunday morning outside Lucy’s Afterlife on Chestnut Street in
Gadsden by a group of men who kicked and punched them.
Police responded to a call about a fight there about 3:10
Sunday morning and found a 22-year-old
Gadsden man unconscious near the entrance to the after-hours club. Two other
men, a 29-year-old from Birmingham and a 30-year-old from Gadsden, also were
injured.
Medics were called to attend to the injured men. A security
guard at the club told police about six male suspects were kicking and punching
the victims repeatedly.
The alleged assailants had left the scene by the time
officers arrived.
