The Gadsden City Titans and Glencoe Yellow Jackets have
risen in the latest Alabama Sports Writers Association poll, which
was released Tuesday evening.
The Titans rose two spots in Class 7A after beating
Sparkman 30-9 on Friday. Glencoe rose one spot in 3A after their close win over
Walter Wellborn.
Fyffe is ranked No. 1 in 2A for the second week in a row
and Cedar Bluff fell out of the rankings after losing to Spring Garden 21-20.
In class 5a, Central of clay county remains in the number 4 spot followed by
guntersville at 5 and sylacauga in the number 8 spot. In Class 4a, the Saks wildcats are ranked at
number 3 while Jacksonville is 7 followed by Oneonta in the number 8 spot. Piedmont is in the number 3 spot in class 3a
along with glencoe at number 6 . In
class 2 a Fyff is ranked number 1 wile in class 1a Ragland is rankd number
5 and Donoho number 8.
