Oxford police have arrested a Talladega man in connection
with a burglary, and are searching for an additional suspect who fled on foot.
Oxford police Thursday morning responded to a call about a
suspicious vehicle on Mary Drive in the
Valleyview subdivision off McIntosh Road.
Two suspects ran into a nearby wooded area , but police
quickly captured and arrested Timothy Robinson, of Talladega, on a charge in
connection with a separate burglary.
Officers found approximately $1,400 worth of items police
believe were stolen from a home there, the release states
Warrants for both men were being obtained Thursday through
the Talladega County District Attorney’s Office according to the release.
Police have identified the second suspect as Anthony
Riley, and ask that anyone with information as to Riley’s location call Oxford
police at 256-831-3121.
