Oxford Police have arrested two people on heroin
distribution charges as a result of what authorities are calling an ongoing
investigation.
Capt. L.G. Owens said Jeffery Slick and LaDonna Nobles,
both of Oxford, were arrested Sept. 5 at
with an undisclosed quantity of heroin that was packaged for individual
sale in plastic baggies.
Slick, faces four
counts of distribution of heroin, and Nobles, faces three counts of
distribution of heroin. Both are currently housed in the Calhoun County Jail.
The department is also seeking two men on similar charges.
James Smith Jr., of Anniston, is wanted for heroin and methamphetamine
distribution, while William Good of Oxford is wanted for heroin distribution.
