Beer Co. in Gadsden.
Chef Rob McDaniel, named the 2013 James Beard Award
semifinalist for best chef in the South, has prepared a menu:
Tickets are $65 and are available at the Coosa Riverkeeper
website. Admission includes meal, beer, tax, gratuity and a year-long
membership to Coosa Riverkeeper. Hors d'oeuvres will be served at 6:30 p.m.,
with guests seated at 7 p.m.
Coosa Riverkeeper works to protect, restore and promote the
Coosa River and its tributaries, according to the organization. The group works
in the river's middle and lower basins, which covers a 5,000 square mile area,
220 miles of river and five of the river's six lakes.
