Talladega City Manager resigns

The Talladega City Council voted unanimously Thursday to accept the resignation of City Manager Brian Muenger. Muenger has accepted a management position across the lake in Pell City.

He will continue to work in Talladega for the next 30 days.

Councilman Horace Patterson made the motion to release Muenger from his contract after 30 days. The motion passed without dissent, although Councilman Donnie Miller said his aye vote was not given happily.

Patterson commended Muenger for his accomplishments during his tenure as manager.
