Police have arrested An Attalla man in connection with the
April 16 assault of his roommate.
Investigators say 36 year old Joel Dillard, is charged with first-degree
assault after he allegedly stabbed a man who lived at the same Attalla
residence. The two argued, apparently over money, and the victim was stabbed,
puncturing a lung.
Dillard remains in the Etowah County Detention Center on $5,100
bond.
