Sabrina Jackson

A Nevada woman has been charged with trafficking in cocaine and oxycodone after agents with the Etowah County Drug Task Force, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and the U.S. Postal Inspector searched a residence on Doyle Street in Gadsden and found more than one and a half pounds of cocaine and the prescription drug oxycodone.
26 year old Sabrina Jackson, of Las Vegas, was arrested at the residence at the time of the search on April 23. She remains in the Etowah County Detention Center on a $102,000 bond on one count of trafficking in cocaine, one count of trafficking in a controlled substance for oxycodone, and misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
During the search, the cocaine was found hidden in the residence. The oxycodone and marijuana were found in separate areas.
One and a half pounds is equivalent to 750 grams and has a street value of about $30,000.

The investigation remains open, and more arrests are anticipated.
