Law enforcement agencies across the southeast have banded
together in an internet-based child pornography take-down. This has resulted in
five arrests. Federal, local and state law enfrorcement joined with the Alabama
Law Enforcement Agencies
Internet Crimes Against Children Unit to complete the
take-down.
26 year old Darren Venable,
of Rainbow City, charged with
three counts Possession of Child Pornography. He was booked into the Etowah County Jail where he posted bond.
According to his
records, he was a first time offender. This investigation is ongoing.
