DeKalb teacher fired for inappropriate relationship with a student

A Dekalb County middle school teacher and coach has been fired after he was accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student.
According to an incident report, a mother found inappropriate text messages to her 14-year-old son by Quentin Wright, who was a math-science teacher and coach at Champion Middle School in DeKalb County.
A spokesperson with the DeKalb County School District confirmed that Wright was fired after being accused of "inappropriate conduct and communications of a sexual nature with students."  His mother is denying the allegations.
Wright has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to the incident report from DeKalb County Schools. The report does not specify what was exactly said in the alleged text conversation.
Wright's family said they don't believe any charges will stick.
The school district says at least one misdemeanor warrant has been issued.  The district attorney was notified Monday of the alleged incident.
