Anniston police investigating robbery

Anniston police are investigating the Wednesday night robbery of two men at a home on West River Street.  Police say The robbery occurred shortly after 10 Wednesday night and The victims were robbed of their phones and their Jeep Wrangler, and one was also robbed of his wallet.  Police say both men had gone to the home to pick up money that was owed to one of the victims.  While the two men were in the home, another man armed with a handgun approached them. The suspect told them to empty their pockets, took their belongings and he fled in their Jeep.  One of the victims heard the suspect fire the gun and both hid in the residence. After a few minutes the two escaped the home through a window and flagged down a police officer.
