Suspect in Jacksonville Burglary Surrenders

Jacksonville police say A Jacksonville man who allegedly assisted in last weeks burglary of a Whites Gap Road home turned himself into police Monday.  20 year old Immanuel Isaiah Holifield,  has been  charged with first-degree burglary. Assistant Jacksonville police chief Bill Wineman said they received an anonymous tip Monday morning about a car with the same Alabama license tag they were searching for, parked at a home in Whites Gap Estates.  Police had issued a statement earlier  Monday with Holifield’s photo and information about the car, saying they had a warrant for his arrest on the burglary charge.  Police have not identified the other suspect involved in the burglary.
