High School Football Playoffs Round 2



Whether it involves style of play or the freezing cold, tonights showdown between Class 7A, No. 7 Gadsden City and No. 4 Oak Mountain should be a barn burner.  Hear all the action tonight on thunder 99.3.  Cleburne county hits the road for the second round traveling to Cordova, hear all the action tonight on thunder 92.7.  The Saks wildcats are also on the road tonight as they travel to Deshler,  hear all the action on WFZX the fox.  In other games tonight:
The Class 3A, No. 3 Glencoe Yellow Jackets host No. 7 Lauderdale County.
Glencoe completed its first perfect regular season since 1979 this year.
The kind of numbers the Yellow Jackets are putting up offensively usually are seen only in video games. Glencoe has won games this season by scores of 56-0 twice, 49-8, 56-7 and 42-14, among other blowouts and are working toward a perfect season to include a state championship.
Southside faces a challenge tonight when the Panthers travel to play Decatur.
