A Clay county man was killed early Sunday morning in a one vehicle crash in Anniston.
Assistant Calhoun County Coroner Preston Sorrell said 41 year old Gregory Dark,  of Lineville was pronounced dead at the scene of the one-vehicle accident at 6:50 a.m. Sunday morning after his car left the roadway and struck a tree on Coleman Road between choccolocco road and Greenbriar dear road.
Calhoun County Coroner Pat Brown said the other passenger, Rodney Dark, was injured and taken to Regional Medical Center before being airlifted to UAB Hospital.

Brown said the two were traveling in a 2005 Nissan Altima on Coleman Road when the crash occurred near Cherry Street, between Choccolocco Road and Greenbrier Dear Road.
Brown said at some point, the vehicle partially left the road and when it corrected, it struck a guardrail. The vehicle then flipped and struck a tree.
