High School Football Playoffs

In its first year in the new Class 7A, the Gadsden City Titans  are ub the state high school football semifinals.

In order to secure a spot in the Super 7 at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, the Titans must take down two-time defending state champion and No. 1 Hoover on the road tonight at hoover. You can hear all the action on Thunder 99.3 beginning at 6:30 this evening. 

Class 3A, No. 3 Glencoe remembers Colbert County all too well heading into tonights quarterfinal playoff game.

 The Indians ended the Yellow Jackets’ 2013 season with a 45-44 overtime win in the second round of the playoffs. Glencoe, which will be on the road tonight is hoping to return the favor after hosting last year’s postseason meeting.  The Yellow Jackets, who are undefeated this year, face a Colbert team that has lost four games this season .
