Altoona man arrested on theft charges

A 29 year old Altoona man has been arrested and charged in connection to a recent theft of property.  Charles Adam Snead, is charged with one felony count of second-degree receiving stolen property.  Snead allegedly was in possession of three guns that were stolen from a residence located on U.S. Highway 278 in Altoona. The victim reported the stolen guns on Sept. 29.  The stolen guns, two Remington rifles and a New England shotgun, were recovered. Snead is being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on $10,000 cash bond for receiving the stolen property.
