An 18-year-old Goodwater man has been charged with murder in
the Oct. 1 shooting death of a Sylacauga man.
Talladega County Sheriff Jimmy Kilgore said Austin Shane
Bonner turned himself in at the county jail Tuesday night.
Bonner is charged with fatally shooting 35 year old Josh
Bearden.
Bearden was found shot to death in his pickup on Settlement
Road just outside of Sylacauga.
Bonner’s bond was set at $100,000 by Judge Jeb Fannin. He
has already bonded out of jail.
