A Heflin woman was killed Saturday afternoon when the
vehicle she was driving left the roadway and overturned.
State Troopers say that 72
year old Peggy McDaniel Shealy, wasn't wearing a seat belt and was
pronounced dead at the scene.
Shealy was driving a 2006 Nissan Altima when the crash
occurred at around 2:24 p.m. on Cleburne County 84, five miles west of Heflin.
Troopers continue to investigate.
