Lincoln Police investigating suspicious death

The Lincoln Police Department is working a suspicious death investigation.

Talladega County Deputy Coroner Larry Seals identified the victim as 53 year old Paul Denton,  of Lincoln.

Seals said“The cause of death was not immediately apparent, and the body has been sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences in Montgomery to determine cause of death,”.

Seals said he pronounced Denton dead at the scene at 11:49 a.m. Thursday at his residence on Dry Valley Road.  Police are not releasing further details because of their ongoing investigation.
