An Anniston woman is being held without bond in the St.
Clair County Jail after she was indicted for the murder of a Pell City
man. 26 year old Candace Lashay
Buckhanon, was indicted for the murder of 30 year old Allan Jordan, of Pell City. Jordan died from
a single gunshot wound Jan. 4. Jordan was pronounced dead at his residence on
Logan Martin Dam Road. Buckhanon was initially charged with the manslaughter death
of Jordan, who was her boyfriend at the time of the shooting. She was released
from jail after posting a $75,000 bond.
A St. Clair County grand jury reviewed the evidence two
weeks ago and upgraded the charge from manslaughter to murder.
