The Alabama Bureau of Investigations is looking into
allegations that evidence disappeared from some court cases in Blount County.
Blount County District Attorney Pamela Casey confirmed that she asked the ABI
to step in regarding a situation in February of 2013. She said some drugs were
not available for toxicology for some cases, and there were also incidents of
missing money. E. Paul Jones was called
in as a special prosecutor on the case. He is the District Attorney for
Chambers, Macon, Randolph, and Tallapoosa Counties.?
