An Etowah county woman who abused and tortured a 12 year old
special needs boy has been sentenced. An
Etowah county judge sentenced Tracy Payne McCord to 10 years in prison without
parole. McCord pleaded guilty in April to the abuse charges. She was arrested
in 2011. Her sentencing was delayed last week after the homicide of her brother
on Memorial Day.
