Fort Payne police say four men have been arrested in a
burglary at the home of Alabama guitarist Jeff Cook. Police said Wednesday that the men are
suspected of stealing several guitars, sports memorabilia, a video camera,
several firearms and other personal items from Cook’s home June 2. The suspects
have been identified as 34-year-old Jacob Allen Lea, 25-year-old Joshua Drew
Hammonds, 25-year-old Matthew Kevin Patterson and 28-year-old Derrick Lynn
Martin. Lea Hammonds and Patterson are charged with burglary and Martin is
charged with receiving stolen property.
The men are being held in the DeKalb County Detention
Center.
