Rainbow City Police Chief Greg Carroll is encouraging those
who have not satisfied warrants in Rainbow City Court to do so during Amnesty
Week so they can avoid arrest.
Carroll said people who have unpaid fines or may be facing a
failure-to-appear charge have the opportunity to contact City Court or come in
between Monday and June 27 and resolve their legal issues.
People still must pay any fines assessed against them, but
can avoid the added inconvenience of being arrested for failure to appear.
For more information, or to find out how to proceed in
taking care of a Rainbow City court case, call the court clerk’s office at
256-413-1216.
