Job Fairs

Two job fairs will be held this month in north Alabama to fill positions for Koch Foods, a chicken processor with locations in Gadsden and Henager.The Alabama Department of Labor said the events will be held from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday and from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 20 at the Fort Payne Career Center Jordan Road S.W.  Attendees should come prepared for an interview, the labor department said in an announcement. The company is hiring for first and second shifts.  Koch Foods said earlier this year it would hire 70 people for its plant in Gadsden as part of a $7.5 million expansion expected to bring total employment to 655.
