Anniston man charged with Attempted Murder

Rodericus Quinell Finch

An Anniston man has been charged with attempted murder after authorities say he shot into a vehicle occupied by his former girlfriend and another man.
Around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, authorities with the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office say Quadree Higgins and Jessica Lee were travelling down Martin Luther King Drive in Hobson City when Lee's ex-boyfriend, 23-year-old Rodericus Qinnell Finch of Anniston pulled in front of Higgins' vehicle.
Authorities say Finch exited his vehicle and approached Lee and Higgins with a pistol drawn and pointed in their direction.
The two attempted to drive past Finch. That's when authorities say he began firing the pistol into their vehicle. Lee had a grazing wound to her leg.
Finch turned himself into investigators on Sunday afternoon at the Calhoun County Jail. He has been charged with two counts of attempted murder and two counts of shooting into an occupied vehicle.
