Two arrested in Boaz Burglary

Two men were arrested and charged in connection to a burglary and theft of property, according to Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
   44 year old Christopher George Salster, of Gadsden, is charged with one felony count of second degree receiving stolen property.
26 year old Bennett Lee Wesson, of Attalla, is charged with one felony count of third degree burglary .
Wesson and Salster allegedly broke into a storage building, in November 2014, located behind a residence on Vickey Lane, Boaz.  The victim noticed the burglary and reported it to the Sheriff's Office in January 2015.  Several firearms and a violin were reported stolen.
During the course of the investigation, investigators recovered the antique violin in a local pawn shop.  The violin, valued at approximately $600, was returned to the rightful owner.

Wesson is being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on $2,500 bond.  Salster was booked into the detention center and later released on $2,500 bond.
