Weekend storms leave damage in Calhoun and Cherokee Counties



The Calhoun County EMA reports damage near Pleasant Valley High School. The school's baseball field has damage to it's fencing. An agricultural building is also damaged. No injuries were reported in that storm.  In Cherokee County, it's EMA says they've had significant damage. A firefighter's home was destroyed . Thankfully they only had minor injuries like scrapes and bruises.
The National Weather Service says it's sending a crew  to Cherokee and Calhoun counties today to survey damage in those areas
