The Alabama Department of Transportation will begin deck
repairs today at Cane Creek bridge on U.S. 431, just south of Alexandria, at
milepost 238.6.
The outside lane will be closed for about two weeks,
according to an ALDOT release. Loads
over 12 feet will not be permitted through this area and will be rerouted to
State Route 144.
