Piedmont men charged with arson

Two Piedmont men have been charged in connection with a May 2013 camper fire in Borden Springs in Cleburne county  in which 46 year old Cheryl Motes,  was found dead.

Chief Deputy Michael Gore of the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office said the woman’s husband, 46 year old Charles Waylon Motes,  and his brother 59 year old  Hank Lamar Motes, have been charged with arson and abuse of a corpse.
