Police in Glencoe have arrested a man on multiple charges stemming from a
July vehicle burglary.
The burglary
and the theft of credit
and debit cards
occurred on July 23.
Glencoe Investigators determined from bank records that the cards had been used
at the East Gadsden and Attalla Walmarts and at service stations, one in Glencoe
and one in Gadsden. The suspect used the cards to get more than $500 worth of
merchandise or cash.
Police used video
surveillance from one of the businesses to identify a person of interest. On
Aug. 5, that person was found and arrested after a traffic stop in Glencoe.
Felony warrants were obtained against 29 year old David Alan Bunt, of Glencoe,
for breaking and entering a vehicle and fraudulent use of a credit/debit card.
Investigators say
additional warrants
are expected and there possibly could be more arrests in the ongoing
investigation.
