Anniston Robbery

Anniston police are investigating the reported robbery of A 30-year-old man. The victim told police Monday he was robbed at gunpoint while sitting on his sister’s porch in Anniston. Police say the man went to visit his sister at her Fox Valley apartment on McClellan Boulevard. The victim said he forgot his sister was out of town, but he sat on her apartment’s porch to use her wireless internet. The victim was using his laptop around 10:47 p.m., when two men he didn’t know approached him. One man pointed a gun in the victim’s face and demanded he give him the laptop. The other suspect took the victim’s cell phone. Police are still investigating.
