Police
in Talladega are investigating a shooting incident on Roosevelt
Street that left a local man wounded. Police say The incident
occurred Sunday evening in front of the victim’s home while he was
outside working on his car stereo. The victim said He saw a white
car, possibly either a Ford Crown Victoria or a Mercury Grand
Marquis, pull up next to him and fire three shots into his vehicle
before driving off. The victim said he did not initially realize
that one of the shots had struck him in the shoulder. He was
transported to Citizens Baptist Medical Center in Talladega, and
later transferred to University Hospital in Birmingham with
non-life-threatening injuries. Police said the victim had been
discharged by Monday afternoon, and was not being particularly
cooperative. Police are asking Anyone with information on this
