Police step up enforcement for start of school

As most area schools resume classes today police say they will be stepping patrols in school zones for todays start of the school year and are reminding the public to slow down for the children. Police say they will be providing an additional presence in school zones during this first week of classes in an effort to make sure drivers are aware that school is back in session and they need to be more observant of the children in those areas.
