Officers
with the Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit wrapped up a ten week
investigation Wednesday with the execution of a series of search
warrants resulting with the arrest of four individuals on drug and
weapons charges. Task Force Commander Rob Savage says that the raids
were well coordinated and took place without incident – despite the
fact that all of the suspects were armed. Officers
seized 400 grams of powdered cocaine worth about forty-thousand
dollars, three-thousand dollars in cash, numerous weapons and several
cars. Four men were taken into custody during the raids. 30-year
old Jerome Williams, 34-year old Roderick Lloyd, 26-year old Jhavaris
Riddle and his older brother 35-year old Richard Riddle. All four
are being held in the Etowah County Detention Center facing drug and
weapons charges.
