Anniston police are investigating
the friday death of a 4-month-old child.
Police have labeled the case as a death investigation but would not comment on any of the circumstances of the child’s death. Calhoun County Coroner Pat Brown said the 17-week-old child appeared to be a victim of heat exposure.
Brown said the child’s body was sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences in Huntsville, and he expected to have a preliminary autopsy report today.
