Woman charged with stabbing repo man



A Talladega woman has been arrested, accused of stabbing a man after he attempted to repossess hear car.  Oxford police  charged 42 year old Cheri Scott, with a felony charge of second-degree assault.   Police were called to a carwash Tuesday at evening on Friendship Road where they found a 55-year-old man whom Scott reportedly stabbed in the leg with an unknown object. The victim was hired to repossess Scott’s red 2002 Jeep Liberty.  The victim told police Scott punched him in the face multiple times and stabbed him in the leg. Police noted the victim’s right leg was bleeding heavily from two puncture wounds, but the man refused medical treatment. Scott was arrested at the scene, but police did not recover the weapon used in the stabbing.
