Authorities say An Anniston man is in critical condition
after being shot in the head Friday evening.
21 year old Johntavious Brown, was shot around 6 p.m. Friday near the
intersection of West 15th Street and Stephens Avenue.
Police say a handgun
was used to shoot Brown in the head. Brown was still in critical condition as
of Saturday.
Witnesses told police the shooting occurred after a verbal
altercation escalated between Brown and another individual.
Police have made no arrests as their investigation is
continuing.
