Springville woman charged with murder

A Springville woman was charged Thursday with the murder of a Springville man who died from a stab wound Tuesday morning.
54 year old Wanda Faye Trammell was charged with the murder of 46 year old Lavronzo Duane Collins, of Springville.
Investigators say There was an argument that led to the stabbing.
The stabbing happened at the suspect’s residence.
St. Clair County Coroner Dennis Russell said Thursday that, according to the autopsy performed by the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences, the cause of death was a stab wound to the chest. The death was ruled a homicide.
According to authorities, Central Dispatch received an emergency call around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday concerning a stabbing incident at the Springville residence.
Collins was transported by ambulance to UAB Hospital, where he died in the emergency room around 3 a.m.
Trammell made her initial court appearance in St. Clair County District Court, Thursday morning, where she was advised of the murder charge against her.
St. Clair County District Judge Alan Furr set Trammell’s bond at $100,000 .
