Alabama State troopers responded to a three-vehicle wreck
Monday morning that claimed two lives and left another person hospitalized.
The wreck happened on I-20 West near the I-459 interchange.
All lanes were shut down immediately after the wreck. Lanes were slowly
reopened through the day.
Troopers said that 29 yer old Cannan John Richoux, of
Birmingham and 29 year old Adrian Cantrell Coleman, of Oxford were killed in
the wreck.
According to troopers, Richoux's 2012 Ford Mustang crossed the
interstate median and struck Coleman's 2014 Toyota Camry.
The third driver, 45 year old Mark Anthony Sides, of Pell
City was injured and taken to St. Vincent's East. His condition has not been
released.
