A single-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon claimed the life of
a Munford man. 37 year old Russell Wells Lakey Jr., was killed when the 2004 Jeep Liberty he was
driving left the roadway and overturned.
State Troopers said Lakey was not wearing a seatbelt and was
ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
