Calhoun county investigating rape of 9 year old

Calhoun County sheriffs deputies are investigating the reported rape of a 9-year-old Ohatchee girl.  According to Chief Deputy Matthew Wade  the victim’s father told the Sheriff’s Office Monday that his daughter was raped by her stepfather. The abuse occurred between Aug. 2 and Aug. 25, according to a report from the Sheriff’s Office. Wade described the abuse as ongoing. Wade said the Department of Human Resources and the Calhoun-Cleburne Children’s Center are involved in the investigation.
