Two parents accuse Springville youth football coach of grabbing their son too hard

Football is a physical game, but some parents in Springville think a youth coach has gone too far. James Miller coaches the 135lb team in the Springville Youth Football Association. According to two parents, during a practice last week he grabbed their son too hard, causing him to fear going back to the field. Other parents say they didn’t see anything that was out-of-line, and that they don’t worry about Miller coaching their children. In a Springville youth football association board meeting Tuesday both sides gave their take. No action was taken against Miller, and the parents have reportedly filed a police report regarding the coaches actions.
