| Possible Murder witness sought by Gadsden Police |
Gadsden Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying
a man who may have witnessed the August 17th double homicide on the Meighan Bridge. 51 year old Billy Baker,
and 35 year old Jobari Player,
were killed on Meighan Boulevard in a drive-by shooting. Three people were
arrested Aug. 22 in connection with the case on separate, outstanding warrants.
The man police are trying to identify was seen driving a Chevrolet SUV near the
shooting. Anyone who knows the identity of the man or any other information
about the double homicide is asked to called Detective Douglas Guyton at
256-549-4867 or Detective Terri Farris at 256-549-4629.
