Woman arrested after leaving scene of accident

A 35 year old Gadsden woman has been arrested on charges of leaving the scene of an accident with injuries in connection with a June 13th crash in the city.  Wanda Lynn Davis, was arrested for felony hit-and-run after allegedly leaving the accident on June 13. The victim was turning left onto a driveway on Brookwood Drive when Davis tried to pass on the left in her 1994 Dodge Dakota. She hit the rear passenger door of the victim’s 2007 Dodge Nitro, then fled the scene.  Officers caught up with Davis after she got into another accident roughly an hour later. On the scene of that accident, Davis admitted to being involved in the previous incident.  Davis was taken to the Etowah County Detention Center, where she is being held on $5,000 bond.
